När vi kände att vi hade sett östra sidan av ön så var det dags för västsidan. Där låg nationalparken som en ev av våra highlights på ön och vi bestämde oss för att flytta till Pomena, den största byn på ön. Där var det en helt annan vibe, det fanns massa restauranger, det låg lyxyacher i hamnen och väldigt mycket mer folk. Dock ingenting om man jämför med andra liknande ställen i medelhavet och det var sjukt mysig stämmning ändå. Vi hittade en lägenhet som låg precis vid vattnet på den lugna sidan av hamnen så vi bestämde oss för att stanna. Det var 10 mins promenadväg från ingången till nationalparken och byn var i princip omringad av naturreservat. Här stannade vi resten av resan och gjorde utflykter varje dag!
//When we felt like we where done with the east side of the island we drove over to the west. There was the national park wich was one of the highlights and we decided to stay in Pomena, the biggest village on the island. It was a totally different vibe here, lots of people and restaurants and luxurious yatchts in the harbour. But still, nothing if you compare to similar spots around the mediteranian and it was a really cozy place. We found an apartment just by the water on the quiet side of the harbour, 10 mins walking from the entrance of the national park, and the whole village was pretty much sourounded by nature reservoirs. We eneded up liking it so much stayed here the rest of the trip and did daytrips from here!
